Now, a wonderful piece of technology...heat maps! The first map represents all of the state placers combined across both classes. Hot spots are accumulated by mapping out team points.

All 3 Classes Combined Team Points

Outside of the Des Moines metro area, most of the points are coming from the east side of the state.

1A Team Points

The main heat spot coming from the Waterloo area is mostly a combination of points from Don Bosco and Columbus Catholic.

2A Team Points

2A's points appear to be the most diverse and spread out with only one strong cluster coming from Osage, who won the team title with 175.5 points.
