In a five-day span, Nebraska has suddenly put together the framework for a top 2025 recruiting class.
After picking up a pledge from top in-state junior Cade Ziola on Thursday, the Huskers followed it up Monday by landing one of the top juniors in Oklahoma.
Kody Routledge, a 2022 Fargo freestyle champ, announced his commitment to Nebraska on Monday. The two-time Oklahoma state high school medalist is ranked fourth nationally at 152 pounds and #17 on the 2025 Big Board. He also visited Cornell, Iowa State, Missouri, Ohio State and Oklahoma.
The Huskers protected their home recruiting turf by landing Ziola, a two-time state finalist who won a state title last season at 170 pounds. Ziola is currently ranked 10th at 182 pounds and #46 on the 2025 Big Board.
Routledge and Ziola are joining a Husker class that also includes Colorado’s Ty Eise, who’s ranked 10th on the 2025 Big Board.
