Ohio State coach Tom Ryan was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries sustained in a car wreck on his drive Tuesday morning to campus.
Ohio State coach Tom Ryan was hospitalized Tuesday with non-life-threatening injuries sustained in a car wreck on his drive to campus.
According to a report by MyFox28Columbus.com, the collision occurred just before 6 a.m. on I-71 at I-270 WB in Columbus.
Ryan was transported to Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. No others were injured in the wreck.
The Ohio State athletic department released the following statement Tuesday: "Ohio State University wrestling coach Tom Ryan was involved in an automobile accident Tuesday morning on his commute to campus. He was transported to Wexner Medical Center. His injuries are non-life threatening, and no one else was hurt at the scene. University and department of athletics staff members have Tom and his family in their thoughts."
