How the tides turn.

After Penn State shut down the Hawkeyes in their December dual, Iowa fans were in a bad place.

Less than a month later, Iowa is back in the title discussion.

The Hawkeyes dominated the prestigous Midlands, pushing seven to the finals, crowning three and winning the team race by 85points. But to the staff and to onlookers, the satisfaction came in the rejuvenated wrestlers who scratched and clawed their way to wins in Evanston.

That spirit carried over yesterday as Iowa torched Oklahoma State, who was riding a hot hand after a strong Runner-Up finish at the Southern Scuffle.

The Hawkeyes outhustled the Cowboys, winning 24-6 and with a huge differential in all the important statistics, as the took 8 of 10 bouts.

Match Points - Iowa 50, OSU 26

What the Hawkeyes looked like in mid-December, Oklahoma State remebled Friday night.

It's a long season, folks. And it makes for a hell of a ride.
