JR World Greco - Final Results
Draws, Updates, and Results for Greco Roman Competition in Zagreb, Croatia at the Junior World Championships.

U.S. Day II Notes
It was a slightly better day for the U.S. Greco Team on Day II at JR Worlds. After going 1-4 on Tuesday, USA is currently 4-4 with one wrestler in a medal bout.

Adam Coon (120KG) did most of the damage, winning three straight matches to reach the semifinals where he fell to defending JR World Champion, Sergei Semenov of Russia.

He then bounced back to pick up a Bronze medal, the only medal for the U.S., by sticking Arata Sadona of Japan just moments into the match.

For Coon, it's his second career World medal; he won a Cadet World title in freestyle in 2011.

And his business isn't even done in Croatia. He anchors what some would consider the best JR Freestyle Team ever for the U.S. as he'll compete in that style on Sunday, the tournament's final day.

Alejandro Sancho (66KG) went 1-1, while Arturo Carmona (55) and Richarld Carlson (84) lost their opening round bouts.

U.S. Day I Notes
The 4 U.S. representatives didn't fare well on the opening day of the Junior World Championships.

Josiah Seaton (50KG), Dante Rodriguez (60), Jon Jay Chavez (74), and Kevin Beazely (96) combined to go just 1-4.

Three Americans had the misfortune of wrestling savvy Russians in the opening round. Chavez won his first against his Polish opponent before falling to Vlad Mariea of Romania.

Mariea would lose in the quarterfinal bout knocking Chavez from contention.
