Once college rivals, now teammates and friends. Jordan Burroughs and Brent Metcalf paused for a moment after they both won their second straight World Cup title.

The two have often discussed their mutual respect for one another during their time on the Senior level.  After USA's 2nd place finish at the World Cup the two stars paused for a moment for some pictures together.

Both were a perfect 4-0 over the course of the competition.  Metcalf earned a huge win over Mongolia's Ganzorig in his 3rd match of the competition while Burroughs passed the 100 win milestone.

74 kg – Jordan Burroughs (USA) won by TF over Iakubali Shikhdzhamalov (Russia), 12-0
74 kg – Jordan Burroughs (USA) dec. Livan Lopez (Cuba), 6-2
74 kg – Jordan Burroughs (USA) dec. Unurbat Purevjav (Mongolia), 6-0
74 kg – Jordan Burroughs (USA) won by TF over Morteza Rezaei Ghaleh (Iran), 10-0
