Standing in Keeley’s way will be returning All-Americans Joey Thomas, who is ranked 3^rd in the country, and Liam Cronin of California. Mason Naifeh should bring a competitive edge and Dylan Koontz has what it takes to pull an upset so be on the look out for them as well.

Unfortunately, Ian Timmins won’t be gracing us with his presence here, but certainly the competition will still be at a high level with Drew Mattin and Randon Miranda looming. Commentary:  We’ve seen Dalton Duffield do some serious work lately when he won a match with three 4-point throws in about 30 seconds. The dude is deadly. But so is the rest of the bracket. Specifically, Dack Punke, who is as rough as they come. If these two come up against each other there are going to be some fireworks because as Zeb Miller would say “they’d rather throw ya, than know ya.” The guy standing in their way could be Paul Bianchi, who was a UWW Cadet Greco champ this year. Brent Jones and Denzel Tovar have what it takes to claim some favorable finishes so don’t be surprised to see them do some damage as well.

Commentary: The man that gave us the nastiest duck under we’ve ever seen –Coltan Williams – is back and looking for another stop sign. However, if Illinois boys Gabe Townsell, Alex Madrigal and James Pawelski have anything to do with it then Williams won’t come anywhere near another stop sign. Madrigal has put on some weight since the high school season where he was at 106 so it will be interesting to see him handle some of the best in the country who have been in this weight for a while. Townsell is a very talented guy with some explosive throws. The x-factor here is Cody Karstetter who has a pretty tough headlock that we saw him pin Dylan Duncan with at Junior Duals after trailing the majority of the match. Returning third place finisher Ryan Friedman is pretty tough and shouldn’t be taken lightly either along with Nolan Hellickson. P.S. -- Don't forget about your returning runner-up Wilson Smith. Until that nasty duck under he led the match against Williams in the finals.

Dylan Duncan will be looking to break through this tough bracket and finish on top. Shie, DeBien and Deakin will also be in the mix and could have very nice finishes as well. Commentary: The thought of a rematch between Bey and Breske is already on our minds. They met in both styles with Breske blanking Bey 10-0 in last year’s final before edging him out in the Freestyle final. It’s certainly a possibility that they meet in the end once again and judging by how Bey has looked lately with an electrifyingly undefeated performance at Junior Duals, a shutout probably won’t happen again. Breske has taken some losses and could really use a confidence booster here so he will be out to prove he’s still a force. Bushey and Rundell will cause some problems for these two frontrunners along the way along with Brett Bye and Berreyesa.
