Taylor LaMont Wins ASICS Pick 'Em Contest
Watch out Willie.
Taylor LaMont might be coming for your job after winning the ASICS Fargo Pick 'Em Contest and proving he knows his stuff.
Not only did he avenge his Greco finals loss to Mitch McKee to claim the Junior Freestyle title, but he also picked 10 winners correctly in the contest, including himself as the 132-pound champ. He took it a step further by being closest to number of team points it took to win the national title, which was ultimately won by Oklahoma, to make him the outright winner since he wasn’t the only one to have 10 correct selections.
Let’s recap.
He picked 10 correct. Won the team point tiebreaker. And picked himself at 132, where he dominated McKee, 15-5. Talk about a sure thing.
So in addition to his stop sign, LaMont is also the winner of a $150 ASICS gift card.
