The wrestling season is officially in full swing, and this weekend we are offering you FIVE live events to choose from kicking off Friday morning and running all the way through Sunday.
Bill Farrell International Open
Date: November 6-7, 2015

For over 50 years, the New York Athletic Club of New York City, USA, has hosted the annual NYAC Holiday International Wrestling Championships, now known as the Bill Farrell International Open. The event is named in honor of the late Bill Farrell, former NYAC Wrestling Chairman and 1972 Olympic coach.
This years Bill Farrell International Open is extremely important as the highest placing USA athlete per weight category in Men's Freestyle, Women's Freestyle and Greco-Roman who has yet to qualify will earn a spot in the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials.
Not only will this years tournmanent feature some of the United State's biggest stars, but some of the world's best as well. Logan Stieber, Aaron Pico, Ed Ruth, Nick Gwiazdowski will do battle with some of the best wrestles from Korea, Japan, and Russia. We will also see the return of the "baddest man on the planet," Joe Warren, and the Greco debut of Dylan Ness.

A day after the Hokies open up their season they play host to one of the East Coast open tournaments. A season ago Sal Mastriani announced his arrival when he knocked off teammate Devin Carter, and we also saw Joey Dance battle Zeke Moisey. Get your first look at some of the country's best true freshman against some established stars. Along with the Hokies get a look at: Appalachian State, Campbell, Chattanooga, Columbia, Duke, Gardner-Webb, George Mason, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Stanford, Virginia, VMI, and West Virginia.

The American Crown Series continues this weekend this time in Loveland, Colorado with the Big Horn Nationals. Wrestlers from six years old through high school will compete with the chance to be named a national champion on the line. Full brackets, results, and archived videos will be available on FloArena.
