In six years FloNationals has proven to be one of the toughest high school tournaments in the country. The competition is fierce, and state champions square off in early rounds. Not only have FloNational alumni proven their merit on the high school mats, but many have gone on to become Division I All-Americans.
Last year’s graduating class was the first crop of high school seniors to complete their five-year window to compete at the Division I level. The inaugural tournament is still collecting accolades, and currently leads the pack with 12 wrestlers that have earned numerous All-American honors. Four of them have earned the ultimate Division I honor of being National Champion.
Kyle Snyder was a champion at 2012 FloNationals. He won wrestling’s ultimate prize of a senior level world title in Las Vegas in 2015. Who will add to this list in New York City at the 2016 NCAA Championships?
