Henry Cejudo, the youngest American Olympic Champion ever, fought for the Flyweight title at UFC 197. His opponent was Demetrious Johnson, who's held the belt since 2012 and has successfully defended it eight times. Johnson came in ranked #2 in the P4P behind Light Heavyweight Jon Jones, who was also on the card and was a New York State Champion and Junior College National Champion for Iowa Central.

#2-Henry Cejudo vs. Champion Demetrious Johnson

Round 1: Cejudo controlled the center early stalking Johnson who then came in to the clinch. And did it a second time. It appeared he wasn't intimidated by Henry's wrestling ability, which Henry made him pay for with an inside trip for a takedown. Back on their feet, Johnson landed several significant strikes with knees and elbows. An elbow to Cejudo's left ear wobbled him and Johnson moved in for the finish on the mat with strikes.Jon Jones, a New York State Champion and Junior College National Champion for Iowa Central, also made his return to the ring.

#1-Jon Jones vs. #6-Ovince St. Preux

Round 1: Jones starts with several different types of kicks but doesn't land any. St. Preux plants a significant straight left and follows with a leg kick. Big sidekick to the body for Jones. St. Preux doing a good job defending Jones' kicks. Jones starts cutting off the cage. Fight moves to a slower pace. Late flurry but no damage.

Round 2: St. Preux threatens a kick but Jones catches it and the two exchange glancing punches. Good kick to the body by Jones. Jones is really controlling the center of the Octagon. Left keg kick by Jones before he closes the gab and controls St. Preux's head and lands some strikes. St. Preux with a SOLID right hand that lands. Spinning kick lands on OSP's abdominals. A spinning back kick lands on OSP's head to end the round.

Round 3: Less stalking now by Jones but St. Preux has seemed to slow down. A couple habs land for OSP. Good straight left by Jones lands flush. Pace really comes to a crawl halfway through the round. Jones puts a couple strikes together but nothing significant. Jones throws several left leg kicks that go inchecked by OSP, who is constantly changing lead leg. Another side kick lands on OSP's ribs.

Round 4: A couple good leg kicks by St. Preux, who continues changing lead legs. Both guys very cautious for the 4th round. Jones walkes OSP to the cage and gets in on a leg attack. He lifts and gets a short-lived takedown as OSP gets to his feet and free. Jones closes the gap and lands two very nice elbows which carries the fighters to the cage and Jones gets his second takedown and a controlling side mount. Jones doing damage with elbows. OSP rolls all the way through but Jones recovers and gets OSP's back. Jones landing big strikes but the bell comes. 

Round 5: Ovince holding center early. Jones seems content to coast and OSP isn't pressing him. A lot of pawing and half attempts. Right at the middle of the round Jones lands a solid uppercut. Jones works them to the edge and Jones is in on an leg attack that OSP doesn't much resist. Jones picks him up and lifts him, brings him to the center and slams him for the takedown. But he doesn't show much interest in staying on the ground and OSP is kicked free. Jones has OSP against the cage and doing a little damage. 

Official Decision: Jones wins unanimous decision
