The Clarion Open is just one of several events being broadcast LIVE on FloWrestling this weekend. The action gets started in the Clarion Rec Center on Sunday, November 6, at 9 AM ET.

Since the one-day tournament will be the first competition of the year, that means we finally get our eyes on some well-known freshmen in a college setting. Here are the four biggest names to watch in Clarion, Pennsylvania:

Jack Mueller, Virginia

He will be competing unattached at 125 pounds in the open division. Rumors are that Mueller could be Virginia's starter at 125, so this would be a great way to kick off his campaign. The Cavaliers' starter last year, Nick Hermann, won the Clarion Open to start a season that saw him qualify for the NCAA championships.

Mueller ended up No. 11 on the class of 2016 Big Board after winning four national prep titles and two Fargo freestyle titles while in high school. He also placed four times at Ironman, so he has experience being ready early in the season, albeit not quite this early.

Mueller picks up a tech at the Dream Team Classic:

Micky Phillippi, Virginia

George, aka Micky, Phillippi is yet another wrestler in a long line of Pennsylvania studs that ended up in Charlottesville, VA. Phillippi, who finished his senior year ranked 16th on the Big Board, is registered as an unattached 133-pounder in the open division this weekend.

Phillippi will likely go right out of the gates for the Cavaliers with senior George DiCamillo moving up to 141 this season.

Phillippi in action at last year's Night of Conflict:

Tyshawn White, Lock Haven

Die-hard fans of high school wrestling in Pennsylvania should be very intrigued by a possible White/Phillippi matchup. The latter will likely have a size advantage over White, who finished his career as the No. 33 recruit in the country. White likes to wrestle from a knee or with a hand on the ground, lulling his opponent to sleep before blasting through on a double or an underhook to a knee pick.

White wrestles in the finals at Dapper Dan in March:

Austin Bell, Pittsburgh

The Fargo All-American is starting off his college career at 165 pounds in the open division. He likes to immediately push the pace and is very comfortable in double overs. Wrestling for Belle Vernon, was third at PIAA states as both a junior and a senior.

Bell wound up 39th on last year's senior Big Board and committed to Pitt. He is one of three entries for Pitt at 165 pounds this weekend.
