Named in honor of the late Bill Farrell, a former NYAC wrestling chairman and the 1972 Olympic coach, the Bill Farrell International has become one of the premier senior-level events in the United States. This year, the Bill Farrell Memorial will hold even more importance as it also serves as the U.S. Non-Olympic Weight World Team Trials Qualifier before the Non-Olympic Weight World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, on December 10-11.
The only way to describe this field is BANANAS, featuring Nahshon Garrett, Cody Brewer, Logan Stieber, Tyler Graff, James Green, Isaiah Martinez, Jordan Oliver, Chance Marsteller, Alex Dieringer, just to name a few.
On the Greco side, keep an eye out for Kamal Bey, Mason Manville, Kendrick Sanders, Pat Martinez, Alejandro Sancho, Pat Smith, Cody Pack, and Hayden Zillmer.
Action begins Thursday in New York City with women's freestyle. Veterans Victoria Anthony, Alli Ragan, Julia Salata, Kelsey Campbell, and Sarah Hildebrandt will all be in action.
