With the Junior men's freestyle portion of Fargo kicking off today, we thought it would be important to give college fans a little cheat sheet of kids to keep an eye on.

Since July 1st, coaches have been able to visit the homes of rising seniors. While not all the kids on this list will graduate in the class of 2018, this list is full of guys who will be hitting college in the next year or so. Brackets for the recruits below can be found on FloArena.

Penn State: Joe Lee (IN), 160lbs

Nittany Lion fans are hopefully familiar with incoming freshman Nick Lee by now, but there is another Lee coming in as well. Joe had to injury default out last year but won a Cadet title in 2015.

Ohio State: David Carr (OH), 160lbs

Even the kids being recruited by the Buckeyes end up battling Nittany Lions. Carr has bested Lee several times, but Lee won the most recent battle 14-5 at the Junior Open. Keeping Carr in state could be crucial for Tom Ryan and his staff.

Oklahoma State: Brayton Lee (IN), 145lbs

No relation to Joe Lee, the fast rising senior was just recently visited by former Oklahoma State national champ Zack Esposito. It's no secret the Cowboys need a 149 after Geo Martinez graduates, and Lee could slot in perfectly. Iowa: Trent Hidlay (PA), 170lbs

The Pennsylvania state champ has kept his recruitment pretty close to the vest, but we know he took an unofficial visit to Iowa City over the summer. Hidlay has nothing but a stop sign on his mind this year after landing in the 7th place match several times.

Missouri: Brock Mauller (MO), 145lbs

Someone very close to the Mizzou program told me recently that Mauller will be the next in a long line of in-state talent to go to Columbia and be an All American. Plus, he has one of the best names in the tournament.

Virginia Tech: Sammy Sasso (PA), 145lbs

Former NCAA champ and Olympian Frank Molinaro visited Sasso's home, and would likely be a great workout partner for the Pennsylvania state champ if he ends up in Blacksburg. Like Joe Lee, Sasso won a cadet title in 2015.

Minnesota: Jake Allar (MN), 160lbs

Actually in the class of 2017, but Gopher fans should be very excited about Allar. He dominated in the junior freestyle finals last year, and another stop sign would be an excellent way to transition into the Minnesota wrestling room.

Cornell: Andrew Merola (NJ), 160lbs

A recent commit to the Big Red, Merola is looking to add a freestyle title to the Cadet Greco one he won back in 2015. If he wins this 160lb bracket, he should get a Golden Ticket to Who's #1 in October.

Nebraska: Alex Thomsen (IA), 126lbs

Although he lives in Iowa, Thomsen spends most of his time training in the Nebraska room as he right on the state line. Few in the country can level change as well as the explosive Thomsen.

Michigan: Ben Freeman (MI), 138lbs

Another 2017 graduate, a great performance by Freeman should have the Wolverines' fans chest puffed out, as it would come on the heels of Joey Silva verballing to wrestle in Ann Arbor.

Lehigh: Pat Glory (NJ), 120lbs

The Mountain Hawks need a 125 pounder after NCAA champ Darian Cruz graduates, and Glory already trains in their room with Jeff Buxton. The New Jersey state champ has had a ton of folkstyle accolades, such as winning Super 32 twice, but hasn't quite seen the same success in freestyle just yet.

South Dakota State: Peyton Robb (MN) 152lbs/Alex Lloyd (MN), 145lbs

These two pretty much came as a package deal for the Jackrabbits. They're best friends, they wrestled in the state finals, and now they appear to have separated in weight before they matriculate to Brookings. Robb made the Akron finals at 69kg after taking out Fargo champ Frankie Gissendanner, while Lloyd was up 9-2 over Chad Red at Junior trials in a match that would have put him in the consi semis.

NC State: Jakob Camacho (CT), 126lbs

A very good lightweight who is joining former teammate Kevin Jack in Raleigh, Camacho will hope his second go round in Fargo goes better than it did last year.
