The phrase "I want to be a four-time national champion" is something that comes out of just about every high-level recruit's mouth. For Kayla Miracle, she may soon be able to make that a reality.

The Campbellsville senior is hoping to join an exclusive group of four-timers at this weekend's WCWA national championships in Oklahoma City. The other women to win titles in every year of their college career are Helen Maroulis, Victoria Anthony, and Emily Webster.

Besides shooting for this historic feat, Miracle is hoping to lead Campbellsville to its first WCWA title in the 15-year history of the national tournament. Besides being a dominant force collegiately, Miracle has also made six age-level world teams and won three medals represented the United States at world championships.

As Miracle angles for her fourth title, three other young ladies will try to leave their mark on women's college wrestling by closing out their careers with a third title.

King University has the past four team titles, with Marina Doi being a part of three of those. The top-ranked senior at 101 pounds made the finals as a freshman and then won the past two titles at the lightest weight class.

Cody Pfau is attempting to become the first national champion for Emmanuel College. Pfau previously won two titles for Oklahoma City University. She enters as the top seed at 109 pounds.

Last but certainly not least is Mallory Velte, who was on last year's senior world team at 63kg. Velte is one of four girls from Simon Fraser who enters WCWAs ranked first in her weight. She also likely has the most anticipated final of the weekend, as junior world bronze medalist Alexis Porter is ranked second at 143lb.

The event begins Friday at 10 AM Central time. Finals will take place Saturday evening. Champions from each weight class will qualify for the World Team Trials challenge tournament in May. Brackets will be on FloArena.
