Gable Steveson is going junior and senior level at the World Team Trials
Three-time Cadet and Junior World Champion Gable Steveson is going to have a busy weekend soon. The #1 overall recruit for the class of 2018 has plans of wrestling at the Junior and Senior World Team Trials, back to back. These two competitions will occur between May 18-20th.
Steveson missed out on the opportunity for a special Junior wrestle off when he failed to finish top 3 at the 2018 US Open at the Senior level.
Minnesota Head Coach Brandon Eggum announced this in the following video on twitter.

Gable had a strong showing at the US Open in his Senior level debut. He dropped a tight bout on a last second step out to 125 mainstay Dom Bradley. He also tech-falled ASU's All American Tanner Hall. At the Junior level, Gable will dwarf the competition in terms of accolades. ISU's Gannon Gremmel won the US Open over a solid field last week in Vegas.
