And they do it again, Team Kong United won another tightly contested final for the threepeat.

This time in the finals Team Kong faced an unfamiliar foe, as Team Shutt put a stop to Young Guns' national finals streak, preventing a fourth consecutive finals match between Kong and Young Guns. But one thing did repeat this year:  Team Kong United hoisting a three straight championship trophy.

It was a back and forth see-saw battle between these two tightly matched clubs. Six of the fourteen matches were decided by one point or less, and Team Kong United won four out of those six matches. Team Kong came out strong winning the first three matches, but Team Shutt came storming back strong winning the next three. One of those wins was a big pin for Mosha Schwartz over Alex Cruz which shot Team Shutt into the lead. The dual would go back and forth from that point on until Boone McDermott was able to get the match-sealing major decision over a top-tier opponent in Tyler Curd.
