Meet The Contenders: #1 Brevin Balmeceda vs #2 Alex Facundo
This match will be one of the highest level bouts of the night.
Brevin Balmeceda is like a patient sniper, while Alex Facundo brings a bit more urgency to the mat. Because of this, I think this match will be one of the highest level bouts of the night.

#1 - Brevin Balmeceda
- 3x state champ
- 2017 Super 32 champ
- OK. State commit
Ok, time to elaborate on why I think he’s a patient sniper. While he has that fourth gear to go with a fast pace, most of the time he is laid back waiting for the right time to strike. He stalks, hand fights hard and when he sees the opening he attacks - usually with a left-handed knee pull single. He separates himself from the pack with his ability to not just ride tough on top, but collect some back points with a seatbelt or claw tilt. He may be one of the most complete wrestlers on the card.

#2 - Alex Facundo
- 2018 Cadet WTT Champion
- 2018 Cadet World Bronze Medalist
- 2017 Super 32 Placer (4th)
While he has the same type of gear where he can lay back, a lot of the time he chooses not to. He will string together multiple attacks on his feet and also uses his length at times. That same length can get him in a bit of trouble where he will at times get a bit too extended. But nonetheless he’s the real deal.
