Anthony Cassar and Kyle Conel are done for the season, according to Penn State beat writer Nate Cobler of the Centre Daily Times. Cobler confirmed in a series of tweets that the Penn State NCAA champion heavyweight and All-American 197-pounder are both done for the year.

Help is on the way for the Nittany Lions at 197 as Shakur Rasheed will make the move up from 184. Rasheed, who was an All-American in 2018, should offer a solid option for the Nittany Lions. He was long rumored to be making this move after Penn State pulled true freshman Aaron Brooks' redshirt in December.

Cassar will be replaced by true freshman Seth Nevills, who is apparently coming out of redshirt.

While Penn State will certainly miss the productivity of Cassar and Conel, their insertion of Rasheed and Nevills into the lineup should provide them with point-scoring options for the Big Ten and NCAA Championships.
