North Dakota State goes for their seventh straight dual win against border rival South Dakota State. The Jackrabbits will be looking to close their season with a sixth straight win and finish the season in the top 25 dual rankings. Here are the top reasons this dual is worth tuning in to.
Watch North Dakota State vs South Dakota State LIVE on Flo
1) A Historic Rivalry With A Cool Trophy
Who doesn’t love a good ol’ fashion north-south rivalry? These two teams have a lot of history dating back to the 1958-59 season with NDSU holding a 43-21-1 advantage. SDSU holds a 4-3 advantage in the past seven meetings, however.
In 2013, the two programs started calling the rivalry “Battle for the Border Bell” with the winner laying claim to the traveling trophy, an awesome 100-lb kettlebell.
Won't be at the #DualOfTheYear because I'm covering the Battle for the #BorderBell 2pm central start time! https://t.co/DWVyGFyPmt pic.twitter.com/qlGwKFxjkh

This one should be another close one that could come down to heavyweight, which brings me to my next point.
2) Metz Magic
#22 Brandon Metz might be under the radar for a lot of people, but not at Flo HQ. Do yourself a favor and skip to the end of these three Southern Scuffle matches below.
Now tell me Brandon Metz isn’t an absolute electric factory. He’s also 4-0 against SDSU’s Blake Wolters.
3) Cam Sykora, Tilt Extraordinaire
Cam Sykora is an absolute animal on top. Here’s almost two minutes of footage that was live on Flo from this season alone.
Predominantly due to his top game, Cam Sykora has earned over 40 tech fall victories in his career if his redshirt season is included, and just under 40 if it isn’t. I don’t know the official NCAA career tech fall record, but Cam Sykora has to at least be close.
4) #11 Andrew Fogarty vs #25 Tanner Cook
The premier match of the night will come at 165 lbs. between North Dakota State’s Andrew Fogarty and South Dakota State’s Tanner Cook. Fogarty is 17-3 this season with a 70-percent bonus rate and Cook is 19-3 with a 63-percent bonus rate. Both of these guys are incredibly skilled and talented.
