Three-time World medalist Bajrang Punia and two-time World medalist James Green will be on opposite sides of the bracket holding the one and two seeds. 

This sets up potential great semifinals between NCAA finalist and U23 World bronze medalist Joey McKenna and two-time NCAA champion Jordan Oliver. McKenna kept it close with Bajrang at the Matteo Pellicone in January. Similarly, Oliver and Green wrestled in the finals of the 2016 World Team Trials with each being decided by one point.

2020 NCAA #1 seed Pat Lugo and Senior Nationals finalist Evan Henderson might have different plans on the top side. As well as NCAA champion Anthony Ashnault and NCAA finalist Bryce Meredith on the bottom side.
