World Team Trials, September 11-12

Wrestling fans will have no shortage of matches to watch this weekend on FloWrestling with the World Team Trials, the IndianaMat Hoosier Preseason Open, Tyrant Battle in the Burgh, Strikezone, and the Katerini Beach Wrestling World Series.

Eight Olympic medalists have already claimed their spots on the 2021 World Team, but the remaining 22 spots will be up for grabs in Lincoln this week. World champs Jordan Burroughs, J'den Cox, and Jacarra Winchester will be in action alongside World medalists Joe Colon, James Green, Nick Gwiazdowski, Malory Velte, and Alyssa Lampe.

IndianaMat Hoosier Preseason Open, September 11-12

Each year, IndianaMat puts on one of the premier preseason tournaments in the entire Midwest. Nationally ranked studs are sure to hit in a tournament that has the potential to shake up the high school rankings.

The team at Tyrant is offering high level duals and an open tournament for age divisions from 6U through high school. Expect a number of national level stars and up-and-comers to have impressive showings in Wheeling, West Virginia this weekend.
