Ryder Rogotzke's gunslinging, fearless style has served him well. The Minnesota upper weight was a Super 32 champ this fall in a loaded field at 182 lbs and currently holds the #3 spot in the National High School Rankings. Now, he's made his college decision.

The Stillwater, Minnesota Junior will move east to the United States Naval Academy after his high school career to join Cary Kolat and company. Rogotzke was drawn to Navy's coaching staff but also appreciates watching guys like Jacob Allen and Josh Koderhandt as they compete and looks forward to joining them in 2023.

Rogotzke is known for his unconventional and exciting style. No wrestler is safe when on the mat with Rogotke. Perhaps no match best illustrates this better than Rogotzke's Super 32 semifinal with Brian Soldano, another of America's most exciting high schoolers.

The future Navy Midshipman takes risks that other wrestlers might avoid because he sees them as opportunities to take matches into his own hands. He'd rather take risks than not because, according to Rogotzke, "you're not gonna get much if you're not gonna go get it."

Navy will be happy to have Rogotzke's services both on the mat and off. In addition to his wrestling goals, Rogotzke is also eager to serve his country and sees the Naval Academy as the best place to develop his growing skills as an engineer and to begin his career after college.
