AJ Ferrari Gives First Update Since Car Accident
Oklahoma State's AJ Ferrari has taken to social media for the first time since being involved in a serious car accident two weeks ago.
2021 197 lbs national champion AJ Ferrari took to social media this evening for the first time since being involved in a serious car accident on January 24th. While the Oklahoma State star did not confirm he was coming back to the mat this season, he did give Cowboy fans hope saying, "Healing up and getting strong... I haven't made a decision yet, but hopefully coming back soon...second national championship coming soon." Watch the full post below to get the entire quote from Ferrari.

Wisely and unsurprisingly, Ferrari took advantage of his first social media post back to include a paid sponsorship with LoMelo’s Meat Market, a nationwide online butcher shop specializing in Wagyu beef.
This is a positive sign for Cowboy fans and wrestling fans alike concerned for Ferrari's health as Ferrari was taken to Oklahoma City by helicopter for medical treatment of his injuries.
Junior Gavin Stika has been stepping in as the starter at 197 lbs in Ferrari in his absence. Stika and the rest of the Cowboys will be taking on Iowa in a highly anticipated dual Saturday evening at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
