Jordan Burroughs Headlining Team USA Yasar Dogu Roster
USA Wrestling has announced that is sending a talented 28 person roster to the Yasar Dogu this weekend.
It's Yasar Dogu week and Team USA is sending a talented roster sure to bring in some rankings series point! Reminder, these points go towards seeding at the World Championships.

USA Wrestling - USA Wrestling is sending 28 athletes—15 in men’s freestyle and 13 in women’s freestyle—to compete at the 2022 Yasar Dogu International, a UWW Ranking Series event, in Istanbul, Turkey, Feb. 24-27.
The event will be live streamed on FloWrestling.
Highlighting the U.S. delegation is 2012 Olympic champion and five-time World champion Jordan Burroughs, who is slated to compete at 79 kg, the weight where he won the 2021 World title. Joining him is 2019 World champion and 2020 Olympian Jacarra Winchester at 55 kg in women’s freestyle.
Other Senior World medalists in the mix include two-time medalists James Green (MFS 70 kg) and Nick Gwiazdowski (MFS 125 kg) as well as World bronze winners Forrest Molinari (WFS 65 kg) and Mallory Velte (65 kg).
Also competing at 65 kg in women’s freestyle is Emma Bruntil, who has already collected two international gold medals in 2022, counting the Ivan Yarygin in January and Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov International last week, defeating both Molinari and Velte in their respective finals.
Senior World Team members Amy Fearnside (WFS 50 kg) and Victoria Francis (WFS 76 kg) are also making the trip to Turkey.
Age-group World champions Macey Kilty (WFS 62 kg) and Mark Hall (MFS 86 kg) are expected to compete alongside age-group World medalists Joey McKenna (MFS 65 kg), Kollin Moore (MFS 97 kg) and Erin Golston (WFS 50 kg).
Action begins Thursday with Greco-Roman action, followed by women’s freestyle on Friday and Saturday, with men’s freestyle closing out the tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
