Zaynah McBryde And Sarah Henckel To Meet At Who's Number One
Zaynah McBryde vs Sarah Henckel should be a high-powered match-up at Who's Number One.
The final match-up for the women's Who's Number One card is set, and it should be a good one. Zaynah McBryde and Sarah Henckel are set to face off at 138 pounds in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on September 9.
Heckel (Southbury, Connecticut) won U15 and 16U titles this year. Her dramatic down-to-the-wire Fargo finish in the 16U 138-pound title bout over Faith Bartoszek put her in a position to be on this year's WNO card. Henckel is attending Blair Academy as a freshman this year.
McBryde (Buffalo, New York) placed fifth at U15 Women's Nationals (65 kg) in 2021 and third in the U17 division at 61 kilograms this year. She is homeschooled and has never attended a conventional school but is enrolled at Life University this fall at the age of 16.
