As a representative of Turkey, Kamal has had a busy career with plenty of success to show for it. Kamal entered the international scene as a cadet for Turkey in 2014, taking home the gold. The following year, Kamal replicated his performance and took things a step further as he represented Turkey at the cadet world championships, bringing home a silver medal. The following year, Kamal finished as a bronze medalist at the cadet European championships and a silver medalist at the world championships before entering the junior level of competition. During this time, Kamal not only won his first European title, but his first world championship as well.
