Welcome to a new era of women’s wrestling in the United States.

The second Ranking Series event of the year, the 2023 Ibrahim Moustafa, is underway in Alexandria Egypt. Some of Team USA’s best from the men’s and women’s freestyle squads are competing against the best in the world, on February 24-February 26. Wrestling starts at 3:30 am (ET) every morning with medal matches beginning at 11:00 am (ET). Check out the below article for real-time results with links to every match video.

This is starting to get good.

Amit Elor (72 kg) will attempt to win her third World gold medal this year after winning U20 and Seniors. It would be the first time an American has accomplished this feat. Felicity Taylor (53 kg) and Alex Hedrick (57 kg) will wrestle for bronze while three men's freestylers are in the semifinals. The action begins at 10:45 a.m. Eastern.

Three of four World Championships are complete following a historic performance by the U.S. women’s freestyle team in Belgrade, Serbia. The team finished second behind Japan and crowned three individual World champions and won seven total medals.

Kayla Miracle and Jennifer Rogers had quite a best-of-three series on August 13. Miracle — a 2021 World silver medalist — postponed her Final X match with Rogers due to an injury. The two met in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to determine the 62 kg spot in the upcoming Senior World Championships.
