Two-time state champion Vincent Kilkeary has continued to dominate heading into his final state tournament. Kilkeary is 25-0 and defeated #5 Andrew Binni 10-4 in the Southwest Region final. Kilkeary will be heavily favored to win his third state crown before moving on to Ohio State next season. Tahir Parkins made the move up from 121 pounds for the postseason and won the Northeast Region to enter the 127-pound rankings at #3. Tyler Adams picked up wins over #9 Liam Flanagan, #8 Luke Mentzer, and #7 Seamus Mack to win the Southcentral Region and entered the rankings at #6. Mack also defeated #9 Flanagan to enter the rankings at #7. Hayden Coy defeated Tyler Chappell to enter the rankings at #10.
