Ohio High School Wrestling Mini Boards
Class of 2024
The Ohio junior class is going to fill in nicely for the graduating senior class. At the top of the list is current two-time state champ and three-time finalist Omar Ayoub. He has placed at massive tournaments like Ironman, Fargo, and Super 32. Ayoub beat #8 on the list Ryan Bennett in the state finals this past season. Bennet was a state champ back in 2021. Right behind him is the Penn commit Ty Wilson, who will also be looking for his third title this next season. The 2022 Ironman champ and recent Virginia commit Max Shulaw slides into the top 3 after a dominant senior year in which he beat several wrestlers in all divisions.
The only wrestler going for his fourth title this next season is #4 in the class Dillon Campbell of Legacy Christian. He placed high at Ironman this past season, beating several nationally ranked wrestlers. Additionally, two-time state champ Jaxon Joy boosted his stock this past season, placing at Ironman. Finally, Ohio State commit Ethan Birden won his first state title this season after making the finals of the Ironman with several upsets along the way to boost his stock.
