125: Drew Mattin Won Big, But Is He Redshirting?
Drew Mattin shakes off losses in week one to Luke Welch and Josh Kramer and takes out All-American Sean Russell and round of 12 finisher Brock Hudkins. But so far the Michigan freshman wrestled both tournaments unattached. Until coach McFarland officially pulls his redshirt, Mattin will stay out of the rankings. Expect him to be in the top 20 if that shirt gets yanked, though.
Russell and Hudkins get moved down a bit because of those losses but otherwise a quiet week at 125.
