141: Yianni D Makes His NCAA Rankings Debut
Oklahoma's Michael Longo lost to No. 2 Kevin Jack and Anthony Ashnault’s replacement, Mike Van Brill. The loss to Jack doesn’t affect Longo’s rankings, but he does slip some because of the Van Brill defeat.
Yianni Diakomihalis makes his heralded debut thanks to winning the Kaloust Open over Harvard’s AJ Jaffe and Penn State’s Nick Lee. Neither Jaffee nor Lee are ranked, however, so Yianni starts rather low. Expect him to move up as the year progresses. Nick Lee breaking into the rankings would also not be unexpected.
