149: Geo Is Back, But Heilmann Was Waiting

Troy Heilmann beat his second ranked wrestler in as many weeks with a Journeymen victory over Geo Martinez.

With Boo Lewallen apparently ineligible for the first semester, Martinez moves back into the Oklahoma State starting 149 spot instead. Martinez beat two ranked wrestlers on his own this weekend, No. 14 Ronnie Perry and No. 4 Solomon Chishko.

That loss drops Chishko a bit, but the two-time All-American doesn’t fall too far due to his solid track record.

Further down the top 20, Oklahoma’s Davion Jeffries was upset by Rutgers' Eleazar DeLuca, who takes the spot vacated by Harvard’s Hunter Ladnier, who was defeated twice at the Kaloust Open in Binghamton, NY.
