Big Ten Rankings 2017-18

Ranked: All 14 Big Ten 133-Pounders

The 133 weight class is wide open (although Seth Gross and I'm sure a few other folks would beg to differ), but the Big Ten is as deep as ever. The conference has, in fact, qualified no fewer than NINE 133-pounders for the last four NCAA tournaments.

This year, nine Big Ten 133-pounders start the season in the national top 20, and Penn State's Corey Keener is right on the bubble. That group of Stickley, Welch (although Welch may be switching weights with his counterpart at 125, Ben Thornton), Eicher, Duncan, Laux, and Keener are all very close.

Isparides and People are also both neck and neck, with a grab bag of wins and losses, and both have the potential to move up. Simmons is a veteran for Maryland still looking for a big break, and Nebraska's Renteria is a young and talented wrestler who has plenty of time to build up his DI resume.
