Big Ten Rankings 2017-18

Ranked: All 14 Big Ten 149-Pounders

The top two at 149 is as good as a duo as you're going to see in any conference. After Zain and Sorensen, NIU transfer Steve Bleise joins the conference as an early favorite to make the podium.

Other All-American contenders include Colton McCrystal, who bumps up a weight, and Ke-Shawn Hayes, who also bumps up and comes back from an injury. Redshirt freshman Ryan Deakin and junior Baby J Bannister round out the ranked preseason podium threats.

Eric Barone and Malik Amine both have quality wins over strong national qualifiers on their resume and are poised for breakout seasons.

DeLuca, Golding and Thompson are another tightly packed bunch who have a few more question marks on their resumes but also all have decent wins.

Zander Wick and Austin Holmes are both redshirt freshman looking to make an impact on the varsity squad this season.
