Big Ten Rankings 2017-18

Ranked: All 14 Big Ten 184-Pounders

Three 184 pound Big Ten All-Americans graduated last season. That left room for Emery Parker, Nick Gravina and Ricky Robertson to move up into All-American contention. Domenic Abounader comes back from a last career redshirt season to join two returning national champions -- Bo Nickal and Myles Martin -- at the top tier of the weight.

Mitch Sliga, Jaron Smith and Owen Webster represent a strong group of wrestlers who are just outside the national Top 20. Webster has perhaps the most potential but a skimpy D1 resume for now. Blake Reid is also close to the group, which should see plenty of movement as the season progresses.

The bottom tier of the weight class has four freshman, all without much history to go on. Do not be surprised if the names change as our Big Ten coaches shuffle their line ups once wrestling begins.
