Big Ten Rankings 2017-18

Ranked: All 14 Big Ten 197-Pounders

The top tier of 197 in the Big Ten features a championship favorite in Moore, a returning All-American in Beazley, and a two time bloodround finisher and three time qualifier in McCutcheon.

Wilcke, Ritter and Brunner are three more preseason top 20 national qualifiers that will be podium threats in March.

In the next group of non-nationally ranked B1G wrestlers are Rypel, Schultz, Steveson and Mulligan. Rypel has the best wins, including one over Shawn Scott, but everyone in that group is close and have taken out national qualifiers before. Whisler is not far behind and has some very good wins as well.

Okaiye, Lee and Durbin have a few more question marks on their resumes, so expect plenty of shuffling as the season goes on.
