Pac-12 Rankings 2017-18

Ranked: All 5 Pac-12 141-Pounders

This weight really opens up with the transfer out of former Stanford wrestler Joey McKenna to Ohio State. It should also be very competitive, with the second- through fifth-place finishers all returning. Everyone has wins and losses against each other, so there is plenty of room for debate.

We gave the No. 1 ranking to Jack Hathaway, who finished second in the conference and won two matches at the NCAA tournament. Russell Rohlfing comes in at No. 2. Rohlfing suffered three losses to Hathaway, beat No. 3 Colton Schilling by tech fall, and split two matches against No. 4 Nicholas Villarreal. To make things even more confusing, No. 5 Requir van der Merwe split two matches with Hathaway last season during his redshirt campaign.
