Returning conference champion Josh Maruca starts the season ranked No. 1. Maruca won two matches at the NCAA tournament last season. Walker Dempsey is ranked No. 2 after finished fifth in the conference last year. Dempsey dropped his only head-to-head match with Maruca. There were no other head-to-head matches to use as reference for the rankings.
