Yazdani's career accolades include Rio Olympic Champion, Tokyo Olympic Silver medalist, three-time World Champion, and two-time Asian Champion. He is engaged in a fierce rivalry with American David Taylor. Taylor beat Yazdani in the finals of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but Yazdani got revenge in the finals of the 2021 Oslo World Championships.
