Alibek Osmonov won the Kunayev tournament in Kazakhstan highlighted by a win over two-time world medalist Ernazar Akmataliev. For that performance, Osmonov jumps to #5 in this set of rankings at 70 kg.

Russia's Inalbek Sheriev won U23 Worlds and moves up to #7. On his way to gold, Sheriev notably defeated Yoshinosuke Aoyagi and Kanan Heybatov. Aoyagi, who wrestled at the senior world championships, finished with a silver medal at U23 Worlds with his best win coming over Giorgi Elbakidze.
